Frequently Asked Questions
Can StoneRō help if I have already been denied?
Yes. Appeals and Supplemental Claims are often successful when new evidence (and better education) is introduced.
Does StoneRo file VA claims or submit paperwork on my behalf?
No. StoneRo does not file claims, submit forms, or communicate with the VA on a clients behalf. Veterans remain fully in control of their VA account and submissions.
How is StoneRo different from a VSO or claims agent?
VSOs often assist with filing claims directly and may be limited in time or scope. Claims agents/attorneys represent veterans legally, often after appeals are required.
StoneRo focuses on pre-claim strategy, evidence understanding, and education, empowering veterans to make informed decisions before and during the process.
Is StoneRō affiliated with the VA?
No. StoneRo is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the Department of Veterans Affairs. We are an independent veteran-focused education organization.
Do I need a disability rating to get VA Healthcare?
No. While disability ratings place you in a higher priority group, eligibility also depends on income limits, combat service, service era, and specific military decorations.
What happens during a Tactical Discovery Call?
This is a opportunity to share your story with our team. Together we will gather information about your current status and answer any questions to decide if StoneRō is a good fit for you.
Are your services free?
Our initial 20–30 minute discovery call is completely free. If you choose to move forward with services, costs do apply. Because every file requires a different level of evidence review and support based on the rating increase being targeted, fees vary per veteran. All costs are fully explained and agreed upon upfront, no hidden fees, ever.
What should I expect when I sign up?
You'll be paired with a dedicated team lead for direct, 1-on-1 guidance throughout your journey. You’ll also gain immediate access to our secure client portal and a comprehensive library of resources designed to help you navigate C&P exams, identify critical medical evidence, and organize all necessary support documents.
